TechStreamLine is committed to accuracy. When we get something wrong, we fix it quickly and tell readers what we changed.
How to report an error
If you believe an article contains a factual error, email contact@techstreamline.org with the subject line “Correction”, or use our contact page. Please include the article link, the specific statement you think is wrong and, if possible, a source that supports the correction.
How we review reports
An editor reviews every correction request. We aim to respond within two business days, and faster for live or fast-moving stories.
How corrections appear
- Corrections: when a factual error is fixed, we add a note at the end of the article describing what was wrong and what was changed, with the date of the correction.
- Updates: when a story changes because new information becomes available, such as an outage being resolved or a company issuing a statement, we mark it as an update with the time it was added.
- Clarifications: when a statement was accurate but could be misunderstood, we may add a clarification note.
- Minor fixes: spelling, grammar and formatting fixes that do not change the meaning may be made without a note.
Removing content
We do not quietly delete articles to hide mistakes. In rare cases, such as legal issues or serious factual problems that cannot be corrected, an article may be removed and replaced with a note explaining why.
